Then we talk about "comic book stuff". Because this whole podcast doesn't deal with enough comic book material. We discuss the track record of the Doctor Strange director, Scott Derrickson. We also discuss the control that Marvel has over it's cinematic universe.

This episode was recorded prior to the release of Suicide Squad whose early reviews were not kind. [Ed note: They still aren't as of publish date.]

We go down a rabbit hole about other directors and who might be willing to step in to direct the future Marvel movies. Armstrong brings up Hancock, which he thinks is underrated and a deserves a higher Metacritic score and encourages you to read Roger Ebert's review.

The film was seen by both Moltz and Armstrong in their youth, scarring them irrevocably. Particularly terrifying was Yul Bryner as Gunslinger, the robot gone rogue.
