Screen Australia has announced seven online projects that will share in over one million dollars of production funding. With online platforms becoming a fantastic springboard for emerging creatives, giving them a chance to share their stories across the country in an innovative and authentic way.
The lineup includes a great mix of original comedic, dramatic and documentary projects covering a variety of themes and topics, and JOY Breakfast found out about some of them.
Starting with Unerased, a 17 piece series of 4-minute Instagram and TikTok videos where nine transgender students document their own lives using just their own phones and cameras. Writer/Director AP Pobjoy joined Rach and Dean to tell them about it.
The episodes drop on 20th August and you can find them on Instagram & TikTok
Writer/producer Hannah-Rae Meegan is another of the projects receiving funding with Touch, in which Cameron attempts to get their revenge on a cheating partner in a local touch footy comp, while falling for teammate Angie.
This will drop in November on YouTube & TikTok.
