The GREAT thing about doing a show is you get to talk to people who you have idolized all your life, and when they turn out to be even better people than you could have imagined is beyond words...such is the case with the fantastic Loretta Switt.

We all know and love Loretta thanks to her portrait of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan. for which she won two Emmy Awards, but Loretta is so much more. Artist, Activist, Writer, Animal Lover and true sweetheart!

Loretta has also devoted decades to animal-related causes and is a strong advocate for animals and animal rights. She has been awarded the 2016 Global Wildlife Conservation Champion Award by the GES Africa Conservation Fund for her support of animal conservation efforts, kindness, compassion and generosity. In addition, Ms. Swit accepted The Betty White Award from Actors and Others for Animals, their highest honor, “for all she has done to protect and care for animals.”

Her new book "SwitHeart' ($49.95 / Hardcover) documents her animal portraits along with descriptive anecdotes about each and her extensive philanthropic work. Ms. Swit recently said, “I'm thrilled to see my passion for animals and my passion for art merge in a book that will help benefit and protect the animals on our planet.”
