Tiffany Green shares her story of leaving the LDS church and embracing a new path as an energy worker and Reiki practitioner. She discusses the challenges and conflicts she faced within the church, including issues with LGBTQ+ policies, the history of polygamy, and the role of women. Tiffany describes her journey of self-discovery and the pivotal moment of attending an ayahuasca ceremony, which led to profound changes in her life. She emphasizes the importance of intention and reverence in working with sacred medicines and the transformative power of facing one's shadows. Tiff shares her experience with ayahuasca and the preparation she went through before the ceremony. She realized that she didn't fully love herself and wanted to change that. She did exercises like meditating and saying 'I love myself' to convince herself. Tiff also practiced forgiving herself for past mistakes and let go of the weight she had been carrying. She emphasizes the importance of set and setting when using plant medicine and the need for a safe and supportive environment. Tiff describes her three-night ayahuasca ceremony and the transformative experiences she had, including reconnecting with her husband and children, honoring her sacred womb, and feeling deep gratitude for her body. After Tiff's transformative ayahuasca ceremony, she felt a deep sense of peace and bliss. She experienced a Kundalini awakening and shed layers of who she thought she should be. Tiff realized that she no longer resonated with the teachings and culture of the Mormon Church. She went through a process of integration, exploring what the experience meant for her daily life. Tiff eventually made the decision to leave the church, despite the fear of how it would impact her family and relationships. She prioritized her own self-love and authenticity. Tiff and Kristy discuss the process of rebuilding their family's foundation after leaving the church. They were intentional about creating new traditions and spending intentional time together on Sundays. Tiff shares her journey into Reiki and energy work, which she discovered through her therapist. She found that she was naturally attuned to energy and decided to become certified in Reiki. Tiff now offers Reiki and intuitive sessions to help others connect with their own inner wisdom and become their own self-healers.
