For about a decade Deborah got progressively sicker with migraines, insomnia, IBS problems, neck and back pain, sky high cholesterol, obesity and fatigue so severe she could barely function. Deborah desperately tried to find any doctor or cure to help, but it felt like she was running on a hamster wheel with no relief. Some doctors thought she was a hypochondriac. Others wanted to help but didn’t know how.
She was poked and prodded, telling her symptoms over and over again to doctor after doctor. They put her through a battery of stressful tests for everything under the sun and ruled them out one by one: multiple sclerosis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, “slipped” disks, celiac, ulcers, Crohn’s, appendicitis, heart disease, lung disease and more.
After a while she decided to get serious about her health and began to assemble a team of holistic experts to help her get well. With their help, Deborah learned how to live “fabulous with fibro” and in the process lost 70 lbs and no longer suffer from migraines, IBS, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, debilitating fatigue or constant neck and back pain. Now she works with women who are going through what she did a few years back.

Her role as assistant director allowed her to leverage business skills, people skills, and gave her the flexibility to be with her own children every day.
Fast-forward ten years, two kids, and one 95-pound American bulldog later, she decided the family needed more space and explored the option of selling their first home and buying something bigger. During this podcast we uncover how she had that “aha!” moment and realized that real estate was the perfect culmination of all her skills and interests.
