I'm enjoying this study through the book of James and I hope you are too. In this episode we take a closer look at James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead. 

I've heard this verse preach many of times. On occasions it has even helped me get off the couch and put my faith to work. This week however, James uncovers something I never considered before. 

My prayer is that this week's devotional finds you and moves you to action because faith without works is dead.

This week we continue our study in the book of James. James is talking to an audience that has faith in God but they are facing trials. What is the purpose of trials? Why does God allow us to go through them? Take a listen and I hope you are encouraged by God's word in your walk with God.
