Welcome to episode 47 of the Transformative Harmonics podcast with your host Paula Scatoloni. In this episode Paula talks to Carol Asiaghi, a shamanic practitioner and long-time teacher in my own spiritual journey. Carol describes the journey that took her from a 27-year career in fashion to shamanic practice, including her first experiences with ceremony, her studies with Hank Wesselman and her relationship with Hawaiian elder Hale Makua.

Carol Asiaghi is a Shamanic Healer, Spiritual Counsellor and Interfaith Ceremonial Minister, who has been studying and practicing Shamanism for more than 20 years. After a 27 year career as a Design Director in the fashion industry in New York, experiences with illness, spiritual awakening and encounters with spirit led her to study indigenous mysticism in Alaska and Hawai’i with respected elders, healers and teachers. In 2003 she was ordained by the One Spirit Learning Alliance and has performed meaningful weddings, funerals and blessings for families of different faiths and officiated at the United Nations Chapel.
