Matt Rosenthal is the CEO of Mindcore Technologies and a spiritual leader. Higher purpose, value, and SQ (spiritual intelligence) are all a part of Matt’s skillset.
Growing up in what he deemed unusual circumstances, Matt's father passed away when he was 12. He came from an impoverished upbringing that inspired him to rise above and become successful. Along the way, he discovered that he had an inherent entrepreneurial side that he had never been aware of. Matt says, “I always had a tremendous amount of creativity. My journey was a traumatic childhood and figuring out how to survive along the way.”
Matt describes the countless mistakes he made in life, giving him the wisdom that he carries today. He detailed his spiritual awakening taking place by accident. Matt says, “I fell into it. I always felt like I had ideas and I wanted to make money. I was an engineer, and I was very technical, so I started doing side work for people. It began to build up.”
Matt found an incredible amount of stimulation and confidence in his passion for IT. He was working outside of the corporate environment, problem-solving within IT, and soon discovered that this was his dream. The creativity invoking challenges that he faced servicing clients in his side work paved the way towards his inspiration for current projects like Mindcore. Matt says, “Ultimately, it ended up that I was making 3 times as much with my side business as I was at my regular job. I didn’t have to go through what a lot of people go through which is starting something up. I just ran with it at that point. I was like, I’m never going back to work for anybody.”
Today Matt’s primary focus involves tending to his people in an incredibly loving and authentic way. In Matt's words, “I spend a lot of time coaching and teaching the people that work at my company. To work at my company, you have to share the same belief system. It starts with a belief, and the belief is that we’re all on the ship going the same direction. I spend more time coaching and giving therapy at my company than anything else.”
It’s leadership like Matt’s that creates purpose and evolution of the family tree within companies that we all yearn for today. A leader that bases his most core methodology on finding like-minded think tanks that operate from the same place of care that he does.
He has a brand new podcast, “Dig In” with self-made business people.
