The tide is turning on the Harmonium! With Prime Arbiter Cortex convinced to join forces with Cybertron, the future of the alliance looks bright—but there's still one last obstacle in the way. Seraphim 7, the enigmatic and calculating member of the Quartet, remains unconvinced, and it'll take every ounce of diplomacy, strategy, and maybe a little luck for Carapace, Sweet Spot, Magnum, and Spindrift to bring them to the table. Will our heroes be able to seal the deal, or will Seraphim 7 be the wrench in the gears of interplanetary unity? Tune in and find out!

What is the Empire Of Rust Podcast?

TransMissions Podcast Network presents: the world's first and only Transformers RPG actual play podcast! Conceived, developed, and run by TransMissions Podcast producer and editor Michael Ordway (@minervion), this podcast combines the tabletop role playing game (RPG) experience (think Dungeons and Dragons) with the setting, universe, and characters of the Transformers into an actual play podcast. Each episode records the gaming sessions as the player characters experience the adventures planned and designed by the game master (GM). The RPG system being used is based on Starfinder, a sci-fi variant of Pathfinder, combined with elements of the Transformers-themed Mechamorphosis d20 system (more info here).

Empire of Rust takes place in the IDW Comics Transformers Universe that ran from 2005 to 2018. It is set at the beginning of the "First Strike" storyline that was published in 2017. But while the starting point is based on the events of the first issue of First Strike - where Earth is being inducted into the Cybertronian Council of Worlds - the story of Empire of Rust will be very different. So if you've read the comics, don't think you know what's going to happen!

The players have all created original Transformer characters to take part in this adventure, but they're sure to encounter some familiar faces in their adventures on Cybertron, and beyond.

Cast:

• Game Master, Narrator, & NPCs (Non-Player Characters) - Michael Ordway
• Magnum and Pythagoras - Matthew G
• Spindrift - Mike M
• Carapace - Patrick Finn
• Sweet Spot - Adam Atchue
• Additional Voices - Brandon Ouellette

Special Thanks:

• Teletraan 1 Outro - Derek Bigesby

On this episode Blokees gives us an amazing Soundwave figure that does everything but transform, Auldey also gets in on the action with more licensed non transforming action figures, and if you ever wanted to have a beer with a Prime, you'll soon get your chance.

Diplomacy continues as Sweet Spot, Carapace, and Magnum each take their turn to sway the most powerful bot on Harmonium—Prime Arbiter Cortex. With the fate of an alliance between Cybertron and Harmonium hanging in the balance, every word matters, every argument carries weight, and every hesitation could mean disaster. Can our heroes convince Cortex and the rest of the elite that Cybertron is the ally they need? Or will old prejudices and political inertia keep Harmonium locked in its rigid ways? The stakes are high, the pressure is on, and the clock is ticking—this is diplomacy at full throttle! Tune in for tense negotiations, bold speeches, and just maybe, the turning point in Cybertron's future!
