She helped write the smash hit "Broken" with lovelytheband, toured with Aaron Carter, and has collaborated with artists like Ben Phipps, Wingtip, and many others.     Jennifer L. Place is the author of "Building 51," a fictional book about a group of friends that explore the abandoned Hudson River State Hospital for the Insane. The building has a dark history of murders and suicides. It's a real place in Poughkeepsie where horrific and barbaric procedures were performed to "treat" patients with mental illnesses.
