Patty Duke acts her ass off in this relatively tame yet unhinged olive and rust palleted made for TV horror from 1989!

The evil does in fact escape Amityville… to Dancott California where it gets to kick it with beautiful coastal views, thick pastel sweaters, many varieties of wall paper and oh so many LAMPS!

Seriously though. Patty Duke rules as a recently widowed mother of three who doesn’t take no shit from no evil lamps. Come for Patty, stay for a hot priest, at least 30 flies, and a kid who looks like yung Rodney Dangerfield.
