Hello Reiki friends and welcome back to ReikiCafe Radio! This week we are diving deep into the nature of trauma, disorder, and digging to the root of suffering.

During this episode, we talk about viewing trauma as an event that causes a surge of energy that the body cannot process. When this energy gets stuck, it ultimately turns into a mental, physical, or emotional disorder. We talk about how every disorder has a root, and often this root is caused by childhood trauma.

We discuss why all trauma is trauma, and why one trauma is not more or less intense than another. We look at the power of emotions, and how these 'modifications of energy' get stored in the body. The body acts as the last and loudest warning signal in the body, and through this lens we explore the meaning of physical illnesses and injuries.
