In this episode we talk about how the idea of Balance is absolute Bullshit!!
We always talk about trying to balance all the things all the time....and it feels like we are all on this constant quest to find something that honestly just doesn't exists IOP (In our opinion)

We had that revelation sitting in a cafe in Bali and it just occurred to us....
There are seasons in life....and whatever you choose to put energy into in that moment is going to thrive ...which means some other things might have to take a back seat for a little bit.

You can't find a balance juggling every single thing in every area of your life.
Its just not gonna happen...or at least not well!!

What are your priorities and what do you want to focus on right now....
Pick your buckets for the season you are in...
Go all in on those..and then swap out the buckets when you need to.

We get into our thoughts on this and also talk about our struggles with balancing:
Being start up partners & husband and wife
Traveling while also building a start up 
Wanting to have adventures & explore & work on projects were passionate about
Trying to be healthy but also enjoy all the food
Having alone time while also trying to enjoy time together and with friends!!

In this weeks episode we talk about being afraid and doing it anyway.
This became quite an unexpected theme for us while we were in Nusa Penida.

For some reason...We had so many experiences pop up while on the island that made us feel scared or nervous...to the point that we almost didn't do them.

So we decided to turn that into an opportunity to step out of our comfort zone & push our limits!
And so we decided that anytime we didn't want to do something out of fear...WE HAD TO DO IT!!

Which so then of course....all the things we almost said NO to...
turned out to be some of our best travel stories and memorable moments of travel!!

This week on the podcast we are diving into the real side of travel and the things that not everyone talks about.
It's a privilege to be able to explore travel and we are so grateful and so happy to be out in the world again...but it's not always rainbows and sunsets and secluded beaches.

We traveled to the Island of Nusa Penida and it was one of the most beautiful places we've ever seen.
There were also lines of people waiting for hours to get their "shot" & then move on to the next.

The reality behind all the beautiful IG pics was absolute chaos and people yelling and sweating and getting frustrated.
it was crazy and it made us really stop and think about it the difference between really having an experience and a real story from somewhere  or just having a pic to show you've been there.

We get into all of this and also share some funny travel stories & one of the scariest nights we've ever had in one of the coolest places we've ever stayed!!

Erran got his first tattoo here in Peru.

We just wrapped up our first ever Travsessed Adventure Trip in Peru!

We volunteered in the Dominican Republic with a group of other healthcare travelers. It was a collaboration between the 4North Project which is a local non-profit in the DR + MedVenture & Travel Nurse Takeover.
It was a great mix of serving the community, adventure & local experiences.

We set up pop up clinics & provided non-clinical eye exams for the local people in the Bani.
It was an awesome experience & we share all the things in this weeks episode.
