Reading through the Old Testament prophets may seem intimidating, but there are sound principles for reading the prophets that will help us organize our hermeneutical efforts and properly interpret what the Lord was communicating to His people then, and what He is communicating to us today.

One of the key elements of John's focal point in his letters is helping his readers to be able to know if they have a true relationship with Jesus.-Jesus does not want us to wonder about this.-He does not want us to walk through life hoping that our relationship with Him is true but never really knowing for sure.-If you do not know if you have a true relationship with Jesus.-1 John 2-3-6 is a very important passage for you to pay close attention to, to rightly understand, and to embrace.
