In this introduction to a monthly course on hermeneutics, we will learn about the importance of proper interpretation, the foundation of proper hermeneutics -the grammatical-historical method of interpretation-, the pitfalls of an erroneous hermeneutical foundation -such as allegorical interpretation-, and the first of the tools in our hermeneutical toolbox- the interpretation of words.
