The crew finds an entire civilization in suspended animation, their attempt to survive a natural disaster. Unfortunately, the computer never woke them up because the program designed to engage them has malfunctioned, and is now holding the people hostage in the form of (sigh) an insane clown. The Q we know and love appears, surprsingly in the role of defending the status quo of the Q, and demanding the other Q be returned to confinement.
