Trent spent most of his life developing his fat and funny persona, but inwardly he was full of fear, depression, and struggled with unacknowledged addictions. As he approached his 40th birthday he knew there was more to him. He dreamt of running a marathon. So, putting his trust in the Lord and teaming up with some key friends and family he started his transformation. 10 ½ months later and 150 pounds lighter he crossed the marathon finish line and his new life began. Today Trent has completed 2 Marathons and his first Half Ironman 70.3, and looks forward to the day when he can run with his wife, Melanie. He lost the weight without surgery, a special diet, or a gym membership. He shares this personal transformation so that others may receive direction, encouragement, and inspiration in their own journey of change.

Trent is husband to an amazing woman, and a father to a stepdaughter, daughter and a son. He is the youngest of 6 children with 4 older sisters and 1 brother. He loves spending time with his family, friends, experiencing new activities, and helping others. He thoroughly enjoys his bi-weekly runs with his friends and most of his other workouts during the week. He is a committed Latter-day Saint and loves the Lord. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and lives with his wife in Kennewick, WA. USA. Trent’s passion is to help others transform and elevate their lives. He is an author, speaker, and transformational coach.
