It has been over one year since Russian forces invaded Ukraine, and the country is still standing despite predictions that it would fall only a few days into the war. Ukrainians have talked about a spring counteroffensive that would give them the ability to take back territory in the southern and eastern parts of their country, including the city of Bakhmut.
