Isaiah 9:1-7 is one of the greatest passages of the Bible. It raises us up from one of the darkest passages. In this message we go into Isaiah’s dark valley and learn a lot about our own valley. From there we see how God’s light transforms this darkness.

Every Christmas we read, see, and hear verses like Isaiah 7:14: “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” But what is the context of this famous verse? How is it a sign? What is its significance? In this message, Rick takes us through the context and in doing so we see the force of this powerful verse afresh.

In this message, Rick explores the terrible news of the fallen human condition showing us how it not only reveals our utter need for Jesus but also the tremendous grace God offers us in the gospel.

Paul’s letter to the Romans is not only a remarkable literary work it is also a message with absolute authority. In our fallenness we are naturally bent on rejecting authority. In this message Rick demonstrates that if we reject the message of Romans we do so at our own peril. The only way to be free is to surrender to the “gospel of God.”
