What is the future of Star Wars films? A recent article from The Hollywood Reporter claims that Rey Skywalker will have a pivotal role in the franchise beyond her stand-alone film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. Reportedly, Simon Kinberg will be developing a new trilogy, and while it's not known if it'll continue the Skywalker Saga, Rey will be a central figure.
We discuss our skepticism on any future Star Wars film happening due to so many announcements that amount to nothing, but focus on our excitement for more Rey stories and the amazing potential her character has for the saga. One thing is for sure, billionaires, and corporate interests in the era of streaming have made Star Wars reliant on a well of nostalgia that might be drying up.

Election Day has come and gone, and unfortunately the results weren't what we were hoping for. We reckon with the uncertainty we encounter, with results both in the USA and Puerto Rico that will change everyone's life. We talk about what that means to us and how we're dealing and facing it.
On a hopeful note, we also discuss the love-letter to the Maestro, Music By John Williams. A beautiful documentary that presents the life of a gifted individual who has brought melodies of joy to countless people and whose gift will resonate in our ears and hearts for an eternity to come.
In these uncertain times we choose HOPE, and we hope you join us in that choice.

Today is Election Day and we have thoughts. After some disrespectful "jokes" were made at the expense of Puerto Rico and it's people, we decide to discuss our views about everything that's going on, both in the political climate of the USA and the presidential election, along with the election also happening in our island of Puerto Rico.
Skeleton Crew is also on the horizon which, based on the trailer, will provide us with some joyful Amblin-esque fun that is desperately needed in a hyper-political and stressful environment.
One thing is certain, we ALL must make our voices heard.

Spooky season is upon us! It's been a while since we've talked about other 'nerd related media', so today we felt it appropriate to get scary and discuss our favorite horror movies. From The Shining to Wes Craven's New Nightmare we chat about our journeys in this scary genre discovering what we prefer, from 90s teen horror to 80s slashers and beyond. NANI RETURNS! After a long couple of months of studying for the bar, Nani has completed her mission and has returned to our galaxy. As many know, she has been sequestered and as such has not been able to catch up on current (Star Wars) events with the state of fandom, and much less up-to-date with movies and TV.
Today we catch up and bring her up-to-speed with everything that has happened, and despite the residual toxicity from The Acolyte's aftermath, we find some joy discussing the LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy special.

We continue our journey through LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy! Last time we shared our roundtable with writers/showrunners, Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit where we learned so much about their process and the importance of telling your own stories.
Today, we share our interview with Robert Michael Moynihan Jr., but of course we all know him as Bobby Moynihan. In this special Bobby appropriately plays Jedi Bob, a character many know from his first appearance in the LEGO Republic Gunship set released in 2002. Bobby is no stranger to Star Wars, having played Orka in Resistance, Trader in The Bad Batch, and Geezer in Visions. Additionally he played multiple characters in the live-readings of The Naboo Movie and The Great Kamino Kaper.There was some great energy on this one with a very heartwarming moment. We hope you enjoy this one!

A new LEGO special has arrived. LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy, a four-part miniseries is now streaming on Disney+. After a lot of fandom drama online, a LEGO special seems like the perfect thing to bring some fun and joy into our lives! As with previous LEGO Star Wars entries, Rebuild The Galaxy is a quirky, funny, and heartfelt entry for these canon-adjacent specials.
Today we are very proud to present our roundtable interview with Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit ("Pokémon Detective Pikachu”, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem") the writers and showrunners of this special. The streaming model is broken and it has claimed The Acolyte as its latest victim. Our friend Nicky Kumar from The Imperial Senate Podcast joins us as he recounts his experience at D23 and all the cool things he saw there (particularly The Volume at the Lucasfilm showroom). The big news, of course, is the reporting through Variety and others that Lucasfilm (Disney) won't be continuing with a second season of The Acolyte. This isn't the first time it has happened to Lucasfilm, as Willow met a similar fate. Would something like this have happened before the Age of Streaming? Welcome to a short but fun episode! We were very lucky to be able to participate in a roundtable interview, along with other great content creators, with the legendary DEE BRADLEY BAKER! His status as Star Wars royalty is undisputed, having voiced a plethora of characters in The Clone Wars along with all of the Batchers in The Bad Batch! Millennials might also recognize him as the voice of Olmec in Legends Of The Hidden Temple among so many other credits!
Today we chat with Dee about his latest Star Wars project: Young Jedi Adventures! In it he plays the fan-favorite NUBS! It is definitely a 180 from the darker characters he has been voicing lately. This was definitely a great one, Dee is kind, and engaging and his answers are joyful and thought provoking!
