We were extremely fortunate to have been able to attend the Andor launch event in Hollywood! We walked the red carpet, got to see Tony Gilroy, and Diego Luna, and then watch the first three episodes of this series! It was truly an unbelievable experience. Better than that was the opportunity to see some old Star Wars Celebration friends while also making some new ones! One of those is longtime friend of the channel, Alden Díaz from Ahch-To Radio. Alden joins us to reminisce on the Launch Event and also to react and review the first four episodes of Andor! Does this show stack up to the hype? Is it not very "Star Wars"? Is this and "adult" show? Well sit back and relax, because today we talk about all of it!

Before starting though, we take a moment to talk about our homeland Puerto Rico and the situation brought upon by Hurricane Fiona. It's been a rough couple of days for those of us in the island and there is much to be said about what is going on five years after Hurricane Maria. We hope you'll help us spread awareness.

We're back in Middle-earth! At long last as if it were a birthday gift, we're living in J.R.R. Tolkien's world! This is a show we have long been waiting for and having it air at the same time as House of the Dragon is truly a feast for fans of High-Fantasy. Before we get started though we take a minute to discuss some of the toxic and disingenuous takes against this show based solely on the casting of PoCs. It is disgusting that stories based on uniting and banding together, are used to gatekeep and exclude people. We stand for representation and repudiate these ill-advised "takes".

Are you ready to go back to Middle-Earth? As we've said before: we're being well fed on High-Fantasy content lately! With House of the Dragon currently airing, and The Rings of Power firmly in the horizon, we've decided to look back at the granddaddy of modern fantasy: The Lord of the Rings! This seminal literary work by J.R.R. Tolkien inspired so many others, and Peter Jackson's incredible adaptation of the book established that bar by which all Fantasy measures itself against! Are you ready to go back to Westeros? After the end of Game of Thrones, many of us were left... unsatisfied, and questioned the need for a spinoff show. The time has come and House of the Dragon has premiered! Now the question remains, did the series premiere live up to the hype, or has our expectation from some stellar seasons of Game of Thrones tainted how we approach our views of this. Are you excited for ANDOR?! We most definitely are! We recently had the opportunity to take part in a virtual roundtable with some of the actors from Andor, including Kyle Soller (Syril Karn) and Denise Gough (Dedra Meero), Genevieve O'Reilly (Mon Mothma), and... While Moe studies for their Bar Exam, we welcome Joanne to the team! Join us as Joanne helps us review the latest LEGO Star Wars special: Summer Vacation! This one was definitely the best of the LEGO specials (although we might be biased as we are from another beach locale!). Finn's journey in this one is very sweet and endearing, and seeing all three lessons just brought warm feelings to our hearts (especially seeing our emo-boy Ben Solo). We then pivot gears to react to ANDOR! What a trailer! The trailer and it's visuals definitely blew us away, but it was all the representation from (and beyond) Diego Luna and the tackling of real-world political themes that has us intrigued! Star Wars definitely has us fat and satisfied (see what I did there?)!

Nani is an aunt! In celebration of Marina being born and Nani being  christened as an aunt, we celebrate of the children in Star Wars and  their legacy!
