The Star Wars galaxy is an ever expanding place. With each new movie, and show, the galaxy is made that much bigger with new characters coming into the fold. With the latest show, Obi-Wan Kenobi, that galaxy grew with the introduction of characters like Tala, Reva, Haja, Roken, and of course, Nyche. Imagine our surprise once we learned that Nyche was portrayed by a Puerto Rican! Obi-Wan Kenobi is over! No more waking up early on Wednesday's to catch the latest episodes (until Andor and The Bad Batch that is!). Saturday May 28th was a magical day. On that day the Triad of the Force hosted a panel, live at the Star Wars Celebration Podcast Stage! It was such a special moment to be part of this convention and bring our Puerto Rican perspective on a panel! We were so lucky to have some amazing people in attendance, but more privileged to have been joined by Catrina Dennis and Alden Díaz on this panel. Today we're very happy to present our live panel, where we discussed the intersectionality of representation in both media and fandom.
