High Point University has a NEW Head Men's Basketball Coach: Alan Huss. Huss makes his way to the east coast after spending the previous 6 seasons at Creighton University, where he helped guide the Blue Jays to an Elite 8 appearance this past season. It was there that his obsession for the PROCESS grew under mentor Greg McDermott. Having not even visited HPU before accepting the job, Huss is fired up to utilize the 'excellence everywhere' attached to the university. He gained a reputation as an elite recruiter in Omaha and even before at New Mexico. Now, Huss looks to leverage those relationship skills & more to build a team that challenges for the Big South crown each season and the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
