Shawn Gibbs is back in Aggieland. North Carolina A&T announced the return of Gibbs to the Aggies football program as the 23rd head football coach in its history last month. Gibbs spent 11 seasons as an assistant coach before leaving to take his first head coaching position at Fort Valley State in 2022. Now, the 49-year-old is back in Greensboro where he helped guide NC A&T to a stretch of incredible success under both Rod Broadway & Sam Washington. 

Listen as Gibbs visits with Kyle Schassburger to detail the emotions & expectations attached to the responsibility of leading the Aggies back to a level of prominence that has been synonymous with the program for so long. Gibbs describes his journey in coaching, the mentorship he's received from Broadway, Bill Hayes and others, plus what it means to have 'Aggie Pride.'
