This time of year especially, we're told to be thankful for all the good things in our lives. But what about the not-so-good things, the things we would rather do without, the things we want to say "no thanks!" to? One of those "no thanks" things is trials, but where we would rather skip the parts of our lives that have trials in them, God has another plan. God shows us that we should be thankful for trials—not because they're super fun, but because they help us to grow, they increase our endurance, and they bring our faith to completion.
