We do not have to take on the burden or weight of every cause in the world, no matter how good or moral they may be. Instead, we are encouraged to fan the flame of Holy Spirit within and let the sensitivity to His voice be the guide that directs us away from distractions. He will lead us into deeper holiness and righteousness.

“I’m writing to encourage you to fan into a flame and rekindle the fire of the spiritual gift God imparted to you when I laid my hands upon you. For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love, and self-control.” (I Timothy 1:6-7 TPT) Holy Spirit, the Master Orchestrator, is interwoven in every bit of our lives, constantly in intercession on our behalf, desiring to guide every step we take and choice we make so that we are conformed into the perfect plan and will of Yahweh. Stir the flame, fan that fire, long to be in the presence of the Lord. It’s time for the miraculous working power of Holy Spirit to manifest through us.

There is a call - an opportunity - being issued for the people of Yahweh. He is summoning us back to His heart, His mind, His garden. He is whispering, “Shhhh,” and that whisper requires a shutting down of any voice other than His that is vying for our attention. Shut everything off and truly hear the voice of Yahweh and not the opinions of man. See what He has to say about this time. His is the only voice that matters.

When the world is swirling around us in darkness and fear, we have to come back to the place of belief, forming a covenant agreement with Yahweh’s word and plan for us and this earth. The very foundation of our faith is in being connected to the Source that is higher than anything else - higher than any wave of fear or any shaking that may occur, completely trusting that His plan will surely come to pass.

The inner witness of Holy Spirit involves faith and trust in Yahweh, believing in that which you cannot see or may not always understand. The inner witness is lasting - still and quiet, but yet deep and powerful. It comes to us by yielding ourselves to Him. The inner witness is the voice of bravery, the voice of courage, the voice of hope. It is a “knowing.”

Today, we are in a huge moment in time and we are thankful to be a part of it. Yahweh is transforming us into a completely new wineskin - a new nature - that is ready and willing and able to receive the new wine He is pouring into us. Yahweh is doing something incredible and truly awesome…not for our glory, but His. We say a resounding, “Yes” to this opportunity, this reformation, this glory.

This house, known as The Rock since the mid-80’s, was established by pioneers who laid down their lives and made a way for the builders. Christ is building His church upon “the rock” through His people who are re-identified with a new name that signifies a new nature, a new character, a new authority and a new wineskin that is pliable for expansion, able to receive the new wine being poured out. For this house, it is in our new nature to be established as “Tribe.”

If there is an issue in the entirety of the Church world, it is an issue of hunger - not for want of food to feed the body, but of the lack of hunger for more of Yahweh and His Kingdom. There are so many conveniences and vices that are vying to fill our minds with everything but Abba, quelling the cry of our spirit from deep within that longs to be fed at His table. Spiritual hunger works the opposite of physical hunger: when we eat food, hunger goes away. When we feed our spirit, we eat and want more…more of Him.

What are we here on the earth to do? We are here to represent the King…to be about our Father’s business. He has set us here to tend and keep this garden He has given us, keeping ourselves separated from the fights of this world’s culture, choosing instead to bless and pray for others, including our enemies (Matthew 5:43-48). The earth is His, we are His, and the battle is His.

Super-deep revelations are great and awesome, but it’s easy to get lost in seeking the deep mysteries and fail to see the depth of the simple, foundational words that are the framework to manifesting and sustaining the deep things. Focusing on the One Thing - the simple desire to be in His presence, seated at His table - is perhaps the greatest and deepest revelation of them all. Without that, we cannot walk this earth as representatives of Christ and His Kingdom.
