Some Steelers fans are worried that the club didn't make a move at the trade deadline after the Ravens did. Don't be. No acquisition is better than the wrong acquisition when cornerbacks are in question

In Tuesday's podcast, I follow up on an interview clip from former Penguin Colby Armstrong on 105.9 the X. He went into great detail about why Sidney Crosby is so good on his backhand. Jack Johnson, Mike Sullivan, and Crosby himself lend some fantastic insight. Everything from practices as a kid, to tape, to blades, to kevlar are part of the equation.

It's another edition of Madden Monday. Mark Madden of 105.9 the X joins me to talk about the Steelers win over Cleveland. We touch on James Conner's performance, the Steelers overcoming mistakes, and their place in the AFC playoff race. We also bask in the Penguins hot trip through Western Canada and Sidney Crosby's magic on the backhand. Plus we dive into a Pittsburgh version of the Sporting News Top 25 list of athletes who never won a title.

Steelers fans are probably laughing at the news of Hue Jackson and Todd Haley being fired after that loss at Heinz Field. They'll stop laughing when they hear that Mike Munchak is a name that has surfaced as a potential replacement.

Don Rebel recaps Week 9 in WPIAL with winners, standout performances and final playoff breakdown as the regular season concludes.

The Penguins are tearing up Canada. Joining me to talk about it is TribLive Penguins beat writer Jonathan Bombulie. We discuss Matt Murray's emergence since coming back from his concussion, the uptick in scoring from Sidney Crosby and Patric Hornqvist, Bryan Rust and Matt Cullen breaking through, and line up changes that were needed.

Duquesne athletic director David Harper joins me to talk about the renovations of A.J. Palumbo Center. It'll now be called the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Harper gives us the backstory of how the $45 million deal came to be, the timetable for renovations, and the history behind the name.

Don Rebel runs down the playoff implications for the big game in the WPIAL's 3A, 2A and 1A for Week 9.
