When two fisherman find a prime fishing spot one day in November of 2012, they ignore an incoming storm and wait too long before heading to safety. The story of survival that follows sounds like a story made up by a Hollywood writer, but it's completely true and absolutely amazing.

In September 2000, a small Indiana town is shocked when a young mother and her two children are found dead in their own home. The prime suspect is David Camm, the husband and father of the victims and he is arrested only a few days after the murders. In 2021, the small community of Surfside, Florida held its collective breath as rescue workers searched for the residents of Champlain Towers South. The condo collapsed in the middle of the night, burying its residents in tons of rubble that had once been their homes. As more and more victims' bodies were pulled from the destroyed building, people started asking "How did this happen?"
