Imagine being trapped in a burning building on the eighth , ninth and tenth floors of the Asch Building in New York City . It happened at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory on Saturday , March 25, 1911 at 4:40 p.m. There was no way to contact the people on the ninth floor. The fire probably started under a cutter table . if you knew how to sew 🧵 and finished in this company, it was like you signed yourself for worser than Rikers 🏝..: from fire hazards and our fire department not equipped for big flames in big buildings ! Usually sprinkler system would be fire prevention for buildings that are huge, but this one didn’t had them, fire extinguisher was there but no one was trained to know how to use it and owner was so concern about his employees stealing from him that he installed lock from inside doors, so it was no way for women to escape the smoke ,they was killed in the triangle inferno , some managed to survive but never seek for treatment or help from smoke inhalation
