Who is Jesus- People have debated about this for millennia. And, like when Jesus walked on this earth, some people accept Him and some reject Him. Yet, in these discussions, people ignore what Jesus says about Himself. In this passage, when Jesus calls Levi and when Jesus addresses a question about fasting, He points those around him to who he is and what he came to do.

In our last installment of our mini-series on what it means to have true gospel ministry, we look how pastors and leaders -both in the church and in the home- ought to exhort, encourage, and charge those around them.

As we come to the second chapter of Mark, we look at the familiar passage of a paralyzed man being lowered from a roof only to find that instead of getting his body healed, he gets his sins forgiven- As the religious leaders rightly point out, only God can forgive sins. So was this blasphemy- As we will see, this event is meant to show the world proof of who Jesus actually is.
