But Jesus is with us, he is for us, the Holy Spirit empowers us to stand firm and build in the midst of disgrace, derision, and as we’ll see in coming weeks, hostility

The book of Nehemiah opens with the report that the exiles who have returned to Jerusalem are in trouble and greatly disgraced. This leads Nehemiah to fall to his knees and pray.
