This morning we're continuing in 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5, where Paul encourages the church to pray the spread of the Gospel and making more and stronger disciples.

Local area churches are joining together for the third annual #LovingLudington Serve Day on May 21st. Instead of individual church services, everyone will meet at the LHS Peterson Auditorium at 9:00 am to kick this event off with a united worship gathering. Afterward, smaller groups will be formed and sent out to minister to our community. Each church will provide the details, supplies, and assignments for these projects that day. There will be a wide range of opportunities suited for every skill set, ability, and age. Show up dressed for the outdoors and willing to bless our neighbors. Most projects will be completed by lunchtime.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17, we see that Paul is encouraging the Thessalonians to stand firm in their faith. These Christians have undergone some tremendous opposition to the Gospel that has caused a shaking in their faith. Paul is encouraging to stand firm, remembering they were chosen by God and reassured of the Gospel of grace.

This morning Pastor John Hicks continues in our study on 2 Thessalonians. In todays passage, Paul dives into a study of the end of days. The day will dawn when all things are new and perfect.

This morning we'll continue in week 2 of our series in 2 Thessalonians, where we see how Paul intercedes for the Church of Christ. As the body of Christ, we can pray in bold expectation of God's amazing work of transformation!

We live with resounding faith today, confident that Jesus' return brings perfect justice. This morning we'll begin a new series preaching through 2 Thessalonians, and Pastor Gary will be preaching through 1:1-10.

Jesus has ascended to the right hand of the Father and he is coming again to judge the living and the dead. As followers of Jesus, trusting in Him alone for forgiveness of our sins and salvation, we look forward to this day with anticipation and hope.

This Easter, we celebrate the resurrected King of kings and Lord of lords. Pastor Gary continues working thought the Nicene Creed, and we'll take a closer look at John 20:1-31.

The theme of substitutionary atonement runs throughout the Bible; this morning let's rediscover the unexpected paradox of both kingly victory (Palm Sunday) and the ultimate attuning sacrifice being found in one man, Jesus Christ. Pastor John will continue in our series, "Creed," as we explore the depths of Jesus using Scripture as our guide.
