Ok, so God picked me, and offers me grace in my brokenness, and now Ephesians 3 reminds us the breadth and power of that grace. Grace is not cheap, or small, instead grace overflows from God to us, and should overflow from us in all we do and say.

So God picked me, right? Ephesians 2 follows this wild idea by explaining how it works. How does God pick broken people, and welcome them into His Kingdom, and give them new life? It all rests with the family’s circle of grace. Or better what do you do once you are picked?

One of the most awkward and formative moments in a child’s life is choosing teams on the playground. Do I get picked first, or I am the dreaded last pick that no one else wanted on their team? Ephesians begins by telling us the story of God picking His team. Spoiler alert: if you are reading this He picked you!!!

Often there is pressure of a feeling that before we can share God with others, we have to be ready to do it perfectly. Instead Jesus models to us empowering people imperfectly, and walking with them as they try, fail, and learn from their experiences.
