According to the Scriptures Alone, you are saved by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone. But that doesn't mean that the Law is overthrown. Instead, we are called to uphold the Law, God's good, pleasing, and perfect Will.
Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner. Lord, have mercy on me, I am in need. Lord, thank you for your mercy, I don't deserve it. As we come before God, we are only able to do so because He has had mercy on us.
God wrestled with Jacob's desire to do things his own way. Are you self-reliant or God reliant?
Are you following the rules or the Ruler? The Bible is not a rule book or a moral guide book. It's a true story of a loving, creative God. And the question is: How do you respond to God's goodness?
