Through our sin, we too gave Jesus a reason to suffer and die. We too hear Jesus cry out for us, “Forgive them!”

Psalm 30:1-5 Ephesians 2:8-9 John 3:14-18aGod loved the world so much that He moved heaven and earth to send a savior. That savior is Jesus. Believe in Him and you will have eternal life!

Genesis 3:1-7, 23-24 Matthew 4:1-11All good things come from God. From the beginning, Satan has taken these good things and twists them enough to cause doubt and entices people to believe lies. Today, we see how Satan takes the truth of God’s word and perverts it to deceive people so that they buy into temptation.

Luke 8:1-151 John 4:1-6Satan does his best to prevent people from having the God’s Word penetrate hearts. When a person rejects the truth, Satan comes and steals that word from them. This week, we see that the seed of God’s word is in the crosshairs of one of Satan’s strategies to demolish God’s work in the world but we celebrate the fact that Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!

Leviticus 27:9-12, 30-34Matthew 6:19-27We make plans for our kids' college funds, plans for buying a car and plans for that summer vacation. But statistically, most people have no plan for supporting their local church. Today we are challenged to make a plan in giving.

1 Timothy 6:1-10Luke 12:16-21Money is temporary and can be taken away at any moment. God is forever and has promised never to leave you. So given these two, which one makes the most sense to put first in your life? Too many have fallen in love with the seduction of wealth which is here today and gone tomorrow.

Ezekiel 33:23-31Matthew 19:16-22Great wealth is a gift from God. As with anything, the moment we begin putting more value on our money than on God, that is the moment when problems begin.
