With the ascension we see that the work of Christ begins to be done through Jesus' followers.

We can find comfort now, realizing what is in Heaven is already here on earth.

The Command to love is new in Christ.

There is a reason some listen to the Good Shepherd and some do not. Only those who are in His flock listen to His voice.

The disciples were challenged with what was next following the resurrection. We are challenged with the same question. We return to life, but life is different because we have a risen, living Lord.

We think of Easter as a surprise, but is it truly a surprise.

Jesus weeps over Jerusalem because they were unwilling to be gathered to Him. Are we willing to be gathered? Are we willing to be reconciled? Are we willing to reconcile with others?

The tenants and the Chief priests thought that they were the owners.

The parable of the Prodigal Son is a picture of our heavenly Father's love for us.

Jesus does not give into the outrage of the crowd. Instead he calls the crowd to repentance. We are to be outraged over our sins even more than our outrage over other's sin.
