Pastor Jack teaches that "thoughts and prayers" can be more than just a cliché.

We all seem to be so caught up in trying to fix others when in reality, we should be fixing ourselves. Pulling the log from your own eye before pulling the speck out of another's is essential for seeing clearly through the eyes of God. Perhaps suspending our judgement is the answer to our own clarity.

Our faith isn't meant to just change us. It's the way God is working to redeem the whole world. Act out faith until you have it. And then because you have it, act upon your faith.

As Christians, we have a responsibility to defend those who are vulnerable and hurting from the cruelness of this world. The work of Christ is shown to be living out of peace with all. We must not hesitate to stand up as one to rid evil of its circulation in the world around us.

Just as the Israelites in their entrance to the promised land, we are about to enter a new change in our community and lives. As we move onward from Wesley Hall, we do as God told the Israelites by building a stone formation reminiscent upon special times, spiritual shifts, and God's faithfulness. Let us use this marker as our guidance forward, from the old school to the new school, for the Kingdom of God.
