Today's episode is all about famed psychonaut Terence Mckenna, and his Stoned Ape Theory. Are magic mushrooms the missing link? Probably not! But it's fun to talk about!

We also discuss the theory that Jesus Christ may have gotten his name from a religious mushroom cult. It's another fun episode full of psuedoscience, laughs, and a complete lack of geographical knowledge. We hope you enjoy!

Mushrooms.  The strange, versatile fungus found naturally on every continent. Pigs love 'em, some are used to spice up pasta dishes, some sell for millions of dollars.  Some get you stupid high, and others just kill you. Today we talk specifically about types of psilocybin mushrooms and their journey through history. From ancient civilizations to a group of Oregonian Boy Scouts in the 70's, join us as we mispronounce scientific names and dream of faeries! See you on the other side!
