A lot of people toss around the phrase "I love this game" when it comes to basketball, but not many fully commit to it. Those that commit realize that their love for the game is bigger than anything in their life. Rachael Vanderwal (@rachvanderwal) played ball and wanted to be really good at it because she loved everything about it. Rachael is all smiles any time she is in the gym and she has been able to keep the "ball bouncing" because she simply loves this game.vb

Growth is the greatest separator in life but we must be able to adjust to change as we do that.

Making adjustments as a head coach is a must with changing generations as well as the game constantly evolving.

Our guest this week, Mike Dean, has been able to do just that over 43 years as a NCAA coach.

He took three (3) different schools to the NCAA Tournament over his career but as he states in the show, he is most proud of the young men he has helped shape over the years.

Dean also talks about his definition of a perfect game and breaks down the phrase "we are going to do what we do….not worry about the other team".

After his NCAA career he was able to play professionally for several years and now is regarded the best three (3) point shooter in the @fiba3x3 World Tour as he represents Canada on this stage.
