LIT VERSE: Proverbs 20:24
The Lord has determined our path; how then can anyone understand the direction his own life is taking?
LIT VERSE: Acts 8:25-40
How could I unless someone GUIDES me?
Guidance is key. Desire to seek the Spirit is a gift from above.
God can grant you the will to want to seek Him.
Guidance by the Spirit is the ultimate path.
A life yielded and divinely guided is the gateway to every good thing.
The Spirit sends His Spirit as a Guide.
The Spirit sends others to help Guide.
The guides are key to unlocking the indwelling of the Spirit.
“The Internal Guidance System (IGS)”
You don’t need External Guidance Systems when the IGS active within.
This is called the internal Light.
The Spirit is given through contact just like the spreading of a disease.
When you are touched by someone who is infected you too become infected, BUT ONLY ONCE the virus gets into your system.
If the virus stays on the outside, you are a carrier, but you are not yet infected.
You are outfected but not infected.
Pharisees in the bible were outfected. They cared and carried the devotion on the outside but it never made it inside. Therefore, the outside looked different, but the inside never changed.
The world needs good guidance.
Individuals need good guidance.
The greatest gift you can give anyone around you is to be infected by the goodness of God and then give your infection to others.
You touch others with what is touching you.
Example/Illustration:
When someone is energized by a live power source, and they touch someone around them ,they feel the energy and the power flows through them to those they touch.
Your job is to stay connected to the power source, to stay internally energized and guided, in order to pass along what is happening in you.
In and through - it's what we do.
Power is key - to victory
Hold on tight - burn real bright
There is more - to what's in store
Smash the doubt - end the drought
Keep the charge - that’s living large
Burning bright - no more night --- Let’s Go !
I’m available in infinite supply. You can have as much as you want.
Get hungry and thirsty for Me. I will guide you through the IGS and you then guide others. That’s the Master Plan. Be about this business.
Today I will stoke the fire of the internal Spirit. I will train and touch others with what I have been given. It's a good time to spread the good news of a great God in the middle of a global pandemic.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… the internal guidance system.
LIT VERSE: Nehemiah 6
The Enemy's Tactics
6:13 “the enemy” was hired for the reason that I might become frightened and fail.
6:14 “the enemy” was sent in order to frighten me.
The Enemy's Failure
6:16 When all our enemies heard that we finished what we started (the wall), they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of God.
The Sub-Heading of chapter 6 is “The Enemies Plot”
The enemy is telling a story to everyone. The intention of the story is to get you to stop following God’s plan for your life. He uses intense and grotesque accusations and allegations to get you and others to question your motivation. If you doubt your own intentions, you open the door for FEAR to FAKE YOU OUT.
When FEAR FAKES YOU OUT, you end up quitting or, if nothing else, slowing down. The enemy is trying to kill your progress. He wants your forward momentum annihilated. If you keep going in the direction of obedience to your calling, the enemy loses ground and he loses souls.
He hates that, so he seeks to use FAKE FEAR to cause you to FALL OUT.
DON’T TAKE THE BAIT! Don’t bite the hook!
Instead, FAKE OUT FEAR by not letting FAKE fear tactics win. You won't let them win if you don’t let them in!
The enemy will lose his confidence and quit coming at you if you don’t let him know you are scared. To the enemy, fear is like blood in the water; it creates a feeding frenzy.
When you stay the course and keep your eye focused on your divine destination without allowing fear to be a distraction, you will deflate the enemy and he will eventually move on to new territory.
Don’t get discouraged and let the enemy win. Courage is only courage in the face of fear. If there is nothing to be afraid of, then it doesn’t require courage. Press into your calling with courage and confidence and the enemy will eventually lose heart and quit.
Today, I will pray with courage and confidence, not that I am strong or I have it all figured out, but knowing that the Spirit does thanking God that He’s my guide!
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… for guidance through gruesome territory, where the enemy would love to steal, kill and destroy. Grateful that God is my Guide and will lead me to FAKE OUT FEAR.
Talk with a Crew member about this. Pray for courage.
LIT VERSE: Nehemiah Chapters 3 & 4
The clear call is for each person and family to build and repair the brokenness right in front of them. Each family builds in front of their own house. It’s the easiest way to divy up the labor.
As they are putting up the wall little by little, the opposers ridicule and attempt to discourage those who are working, but with specific focus the workers overcome the haters.
When haters come, we cannot allow them to steal our focus. We have to stay the course. They did this by picking up shields and shovels. We are called to be warriors who work, watch and worship at the same time.
We need to rally the Crew to do this too.
You are called to rally those who have a heart to rebuild and repair the walls of the city. Create rally points and clear calls to distinguish next steps for the builders. Station the workers and the warriors as watchmen who wait for the clear call of the Spirit. Move as He moves. When jealous opposers ridicule, hate, sow doubt, discord, mock and minimize, fend them off through focus on forward motion. Guard what is sacred, restore what is broken, rally to the rampart, and watch as the Lord makes a way.
Today I will listen intently for what this means practically to the building process. There is much to do. God help us see what you are doing and partner with You in your work. The harvest is great. Show us the way, the work, and the workers you want to bring into this mission.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… clear calls to partner in specific tasks
What are you rallying to right now in your life? Can you identify anything the Spirit is clearly calling you to partner with? Is there a mission at hand that is clear to you? What is it? Share your thoughts with your Crew.

LIT VERSE: Nehemiah 2:10
When you take a look around your life, do you see brokenness that needs repair? Nehemiah did too. The sacred land was desolated. People were in great distress. Life was full of brokenness. Jerusalem was sacred territory but the walls of defence were torn down, the gates had been desecrated.
How will you respond to this brokenness? Do you think up your own plan, or will you seek the Lord to find out what He wants you to do? Nehemiah fasted, mourned, prayed, repented, and made himself available to God to do His will.
After this prayer, Nehemiah took action on what was in his heart and God began lining up the details though His power by placing His “good hand upon” Nehemiah.
Some who heard that Nehemiah sought the welfare of the city immediately began to oppose what he stood for, because it would diminish their influence and make them less politically powerful.
Nehemiah then went and took a good hard look at the status of Jerusalem. He went and researched where things actually were. He had to figure out where they were by taking a good look around, without rose colored glasses, and without acting as if things were better than they were. He needed to see what the task ahead was in a raw, real way. He had to take a realistic look at the circumstances at hand.
After inspecting the walls and taking a good, hard look at the devastation he went and rallied the people by saying, “You know what the situation is right? Let's rally and roll!” Then those God called to partner in the mission of restoring the city said, “let’s get up and go!” So they put their hands to the good work.
At that point the opposition got stronger, but the mission became more clear, and it was known who should and should not have part in the mission. He didn’t try to make peace with the opposers, he simply moved on.
When you do what I put on your heart to do, it will not please everybody. In fact, it will put some people in direct opposition to you and cause them to try to stop your efforts and tear down your reputation. Do not allow those who oppose you to keep you from your calling. Do not let your attention become focused on your opposers; focus on the mission at hand. Then, I will be able to move in your midst and cause all things to work out as I please.
Today I will keep focused on the tasks at hand and build with diligence the walls that have been broken for decades.
The scripture that instructs me to handle life's opposers properly.
Are there any enemies in your life seeking to disrupt your progress? Identify the enemies if you can. Are they people, circumstances, attitudes, emotions? Talk to your crew about how you plan on dealing with these enemies.

Zechariah 4:6
"Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts."
LIT VERSE: Luke 11:3
Give us each day our daily bread...
You and I don’t know what we TRULY NEED. We don’t know what’s best for this day let alone the future. Come on, let’s be real here. How would you know what you need when you have no idea what’s coming next. If a snowstorm is on the way, you don’t need a new bathing suit. You need a blanket. God knows what you need. You know what you want. He knows what you need. That’s why Jesus’ teaching about prayer is so important. It gives us a template for the process of prayer that can transform our lives.
The disciples who were following Jesus asked Him a pretty important and specific question. They asked Jesus if He would teach them how to pray. He went straight to it by using the prayer template popularly termed “The Lord's Prayer.” Luke’s account of this prayer template is a little shorter than Matthew’s, but the bones are still there.
Always, start with praising God and declaring who He is. It makes Him bigger and more powerful, and our problems smaller in view of Him. (hallowed be thy name) Invite His kingdom into our world and your life. (your kingdom come) Imagine what that means. His Kingdom is perfect, good, right, and true.
But here’s the part that really jumped at me today. GIVE US EACH DAY OUR DAILY BREAD.
This reminded me of the DAILY journey of trust. This reminded me that EACH DAY I am required to bring my wants, desires, and needs to the Spirit.
It is critical that we approach our day with this “daily” dependence in mind. Prayer is a process of continual trust that God will give us what we truly need each day. It allows us to rest and trust rather than strive and attempt to create something out of nothing. He knows what we need. He knows when we need it. He knows how to give it. You simply have to trust.
Prayer proclaims your dependence on the Creator. I know what you need and what you do not. I am a good Father who has your back in every way. When you use prayer to proclaim your trust, you allow me to be the Lord of your life. Your job then becomes to pray, trust, and walk in peace through every obstacle and issue.
Today I will cast my concerns on Him and then walk in peace enjoying the blessing of not having to worry about my future.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… the prayer process and what happens in me when I trust the Spirit.
LIT VERSE: Haggai 1:10 and 2:5-9
Because of you the sky has withheld its dew, and the earth has withheld its produce.
But… that’s going to change.
The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former. In this place I shall give peace.
You have an impact on what is and is not happening in life.
Here’s the context of the chapters:
Things were broken all around. A lot of effort was being made for not a lot of reward. Basically, it was a time of drought spiritually and physically. The Lord speaks to the people through Haggai the profit and tells them, it’s because of you.
He basically says, you need to get your priorities straight. Focus on what's most important, and things will change.
I like this passage because it puts responsibility back on us as people for the circumstances of what’s happening around us.
Don’t underestimate your importance to the Masters Plan. Many things do and do not happen because of you. You are My vessel. I have chosen to fill you and flow through you, therefore because of you and what you choose, change will or will not happen.
Today I will take these words to heart and allow them to redefine my direction and focus. I will take the responsibility seriously and not act as if it’s all by chance.
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… the responsibility

46 “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?
47 Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like:
48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
49 But the one who has heard and has not acted accordingly, is like a man who built a house on the ground without any foundation; and the torrent burst against it and immediately it collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.”
No one in their right mind would choose to build a house that will eventually be smashed to oblivion. That would be a silly waste of time and money. Why would anyone knowingly do this?
Answer: You wouldn’t.
Problem: Many people are doing this because they have no idea how to build a solid foundation.
Solution: It’s as easy as 123. But, how easy is 123? Well, it depends on a few things...
Do you know how to come to Jesus? Do you know how to sit with the Spirit?
That’s important because it’s...
Step 1. Come to Me (Jesus says) Hmm. Sounds simple enough. Here’s where it gets difficult. You have to eliminate distractions and elevate the importance of being with Him. Otherwise, everything, everyone and their brother, distraction, will show up when you are doing your best to come to Him. If you get yourself in a position of coming to Him, sitting with Him, then you are positioned to hear his voice. That’s important because that is…
Step 2. Hear My Word (Jesus’ word) That’s the Lit word. The word the Spirit speaks to you is His LIT WORD. It’s the word with present power to change your life if acted upon. In order to hear His word, you have to be awake to His voice. You have to be born of the Spirit and enabled to hear. This is where it gets fun. When you come to Him, seeking Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, the Spirit makes good on His promise and gives you His Spirit. Once you have heard His word then you can act on what was said. That’s important because that is…
Step 3. Act Upon Them. When the Spirit speaks a word to you when you are sitting with Him, that is the word you MUST ACT UPON. Whatever He shows you, whatever you hear, that’s what you do. By acting on what He says, you are building what He has. The Spirit has a solid well built life planned for every one of us. That being true, it requires obedience to what He says.
Let’s keep this in the context of the story. You are the house. You are being built into something strong, a structure that is able to withstand the heavy downpour and onslaught of opposition. To do this, to be this well-built house you have to follow the Master Plan. The plan gives you step by step instruction for being built into the plan that was written for you. What you have to do is Easy as 123. Sit with the Spirit, Listen to the Plan, Go and DO IT.
To be Built Well, in this life as a human being, you have to build your house on the rock. 123
Come, Hear, Act. If you do this everyday then you will be solid. If you do not do this then you are building a superficial, shaky, weak, structure. Eventually something will come along and break you down. The floods do come. Get ready, Build Well. Be Ready. The Spirit only gives you one step at a time, take them as you get them. Don’t get ahead of the Master.
Today I will take my steps because they are as easy as 123. In this I will discover what my next right step is. #onedayatatime #stepbystep
I AM GRATEFUL FOR… A Sure Foundation and a Formula for Building
A Track Step is “how we start small but start now.” If you’re not stepping your stalling.
LIT VERSE: Daniel Chapter 6, The Lions Den, Verse 10: Daniel knew the document was signed, he entered his house, opened his winder toward heaven from his roof chamber, and he continued kneeling on his knees three times a day, praying and giving thanks to his God as he had previously done.
Verses 22,23 … Because he was vigilant and had trusted in God, He sent the angels to shut the mouths of the Lions.
THOUGHT BREAKDOWN: (keep the text in the context)
The book says Daniel had an extraordinary spirit. This caused people who were comparing themselves to Daniel to become jealous of his excellence. Excellence, by definition, means he was excelling. When someone is excelling around you, it’s better to celebrate them to separate and compete with them.
The accusers around Daniel decided they would try to trap him and get him killed. They did this for no other reason than jealousy. When someone is driven by jealousy, it eventually comes back to bite them just as it did Daniel's accusers.
When they trapped him and threw him in the den of lions they thought they won. God flipped the script and turned it around on the accusers. He shut the mouths of the lions and kept Daniel safe. Then in the morning, the ones who brought the accusation were thrown into the lions den and killed by the very trap they had set.
Daniel was vigilant. That means watchful, on the lookout, awake, observant, and prayerful. He kept his focus rested on the Spirit, and he trusted the spirit to bring vengeance on the ones trying to harm him. Daniel was vigilant. The Spirit was the vigilante. He brought justice. Daniel's only job was to STAY VIGILANT.
Get vigilant. Be vigilant. Stay vigilant. No matter what is going on around us in this world, nothing should take our vigilance. It’s our right, and it’s our highest priority. If you need to GET vigilant, do it. If you are vigilant, just STAY there. Let nothing distract you from fixing your eyes on Him.
Today, think of yourself like Daniel, he was a watchman on the wall. He was an observer in the lookout. No matter what, he chose to pray and praise. So will I, and so should you.
