It's the layover from hell. Alun, broadcasting from deep within the Belize jungle, tells of his mammoth journey to Belize, which started in Morocco. Four flights, and multiple buses and taxis, saw him travel from Morocco to Venice, Venice to Berlin, Berlin to Fort Lauderdale, and then onto Cancun; crossing the Mexico-Belize border on foot.
30+ hours of layovers and sleeping in airports would leave any backpacker zapped. Oh, the things we do for cheap flights!
Stay tuned until the end of the episode to hear the latest entry in the hostel common room: dorm rooms aren't always what we'd hoped for!
