Last year I sat down with Gtar Phil and interviewed him about his 2021 single Black Bodies. In this interview, he talks about how he created the song and how society and the times we’re living in can impact the creative process and lead to great music and great art. He also speaks on how as an artist, he feels like it’s important for music to reflect the times we’re living in.

Craig Fontes is the creator of the digital and print magazine Shark City Futebol Club as well as a photographer, musician, and audio engineer. During this divisive time in our country Craig has used his platform in a major way to support black creatives through his photography and digital magazine while also providing resources for people about racism in America.

Diane Brame is a producer, director, videographer and most recently a music artist. In mid June of 2020 Diane released a song and music video entitled “I’m So Tired”. In response to the social unrest in the country following the killing of George Floyd. So I invited her to talk about the decision to make a song, the music video and how all of this has impacted her personally.
