Complex emotions arise from shock and disbelief to relief, then grief and back to gratitude. If you've suffered Narcissistic or Sociopathic abuse then you know the horrors don't stop when the relationship ends, that is often when the abuse escalates. Sometimes resulting in a lifetime of looking over your shoulder and watching for the next blindsiding hurtful moment.

This episode was recorded on Tax Day 2024 when Nancy discovers she has manifested the exact annual income she envisioned all year and now must pay the taxes. Again, complicated feelings.
