Troy and Tara Watch

It didn't take much to convince Tara and I to go see a Marvel movie, much less to see a Taika Waititi film, so when we get the 2 at the same time then it's a guarantee we will be watching it. In this episode we talk about how we feel about the film compared to Thor: Ragnarok and if we would watch again and why. At the 10 min mark we start going into spoiler area, so be sure to come back after watching. Finally we discuss the new Clerks 3 trailer and our love for Kevin Smith and his body of work.

As the title of this episode suggests, Tara and I took a little time off (listen to find out) but now we are back at it and have a few things to go over. Since we had a few things to cover, we held off on going over cast and crew or interesting facts....sort of, but here is a quick list:

So come join us again as we watch ...a lot of stuff!

We felt the need, the need for speed, with Tara having never seen the first Top Gun we decided to do a double feature and boy.... we have some thoughts. Come join us as we discuss both Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick.

With Season 1 of Severance out not on Apple +, this thriller series is a must watch. Directed/produced by Ben Stiller (Zoolander, Tropic Thunder) and stars Adam Scott (Parks and Rec) and Britt Lower ( High Maintenance) in a show that asks the question what if you could separate your work life from your home life. By the end of this show, we were begging for more but in the best way possible. From the story to the acting and the over all visuals of this show had us wowed from moment one. This episode will go into full spoilers for the show and our thoughts and some of the bigger questions this show poses.

Then we figure out who done it in Death on the Nile, out now on HBO Max, directed and starring Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express). Turning Red is steaming now on Disney+ and stars Rosalie Chiang as Meilin and Sandra Oh as Ming. Directed by Domee Shi, this Disney Pixar movie was a surprising fun and enjoyable story set in 2002 Toronto with 13 year old Chinese-Canadian girl Meilin. We don't want to spoil this movie too much but with a great animation style and amazing voice acting from the cast, it's easy to recommend this movie.

We also swing into the new Spider Man: No Way Home and go spoiler heavy right away but we talk about why this movie has made the money that it has. As a bonus, I have included a bonus outtake from our last episode. Enjoy!!
