It’s summer, time for a staycation—the living is easy! But wait—there are really some things that can put a damper on a good time. Like anger, for one. Every person has to come to terms with their feelings of anger sometimes, if not often for some. It can be an all-consuming emotion, affecting every area of our lives, and even the lives of the people we come into contact with. But anger doesn’t have to drive our lives! What are the common symptoms of anger? And what does God have to say about finding the true antidote to conquer our anger?

Is your past filled with some not-so-great choices? Most of us can say we have done or said things that we fully regret. Are you so plagued by your past that you keep finding yourself focused on your past, unable to move forward? God never intended us to sit in our mistakes forever. It’s like a roller coaster—the track ahead looks scary and unknown, but looking backward will do you no good! God wants us to keep looking forward, focused on a hopeful future—most importantly with Him leading our way in the driver’s seat of that crazy roller coaster of life!

With so many “monsters” looming in this life, how can we power through? If we are driven by fear, our lives will be sad and unfulfilling. Maybe you feel like giving up. As followers of Jesus, we don’t give up! Our race does not end with death, we are promised our reward in heaven. You are not alone! God promises to be with us always, and He has given each of us community in other believers. So don’t give up—run to WIN!
