Our mortality dictates to us the fact of life that each of us will someday pass away and die. That’s a heavy fact to live with. Death can be incredibly scary, filled with dread and fear of the unknown. But take heart! God promises that as followers of Jesus, we will not pass away with death, rather we will go on to experience life in heaven! Reuniting with loved ones, a place free of pain and suffering, and living in the presence of God forever!

Reaching for success can be scary, right? The fear of failure can be crippling, often becoming the ultimate barrier to us reaching for our dreams. The truth is, fear is blinding. When we are ruled by fear, we can’t see beyond the challenge into the success. When we overcome our fears and power forward, not only do we experience blessing—we experience God’s strength and blessing and become a living testimony to God’s promises!

One of the biggest “monsters” that causes fear in this world is the fear of the unknown. How can we have joy and peace when the world seems like it’s in chaos, and we don’t know what the future will bring? God promises in His Word that He will be with us all the time, so why should we tremble in fear? Stand firm, be still, and let God lead you into the future, certain that He knows the path ahead!

The Bible tells us that the devil prowls around this world like a hungry lion, looking to devour the lives and souls of people. He’s present in this world. Ouch, that’s not a great thought! Kind of scary when you think about it. BUT God has promised that He wins in the end! Though the spiritual battle rages on, God promises victory! God is in control, you are forgiven, and the future is promised!
