Hello good people and welcome back to another week's episode of Trudge Report. At the top of the show we discuss everything from snow in the midwest, fantasy football heartbreak, weird allergies, and viral plane crashes. 

We then dive into the recovery topic, surrounding complete powerlessness over our addictions, and how none of us could stop on our own power or by the numerous methods we have employed. We discuss barriers to recovery that each of us faced, mostly those within ourselves. We talk about preconceived notions, both positive and negative, that we all had about getting sober. We mix in a few entertaining stories and then end with what kept each of us in Florida to get and stay sober. 

Big shout out to all of the men and women that have served in our armed forces in honor of Veterans Day on November 11th. We thank each of you for your service and sacrifice.

Welcome back to another episode of Trudge Report. We kick off the show with a Halloween recap and a big shout out to game 7 of the world series. Then we bring you a harrowing, but hilarious, recap of some of the wild, grimy, and dishonest ways we were living in the months and years leading up to us getting sober. From embezzlement to homelessness to botched kidnapping schemes, we share our experiences in the throes of the disease and the wild ride the lifestyle can take a person on. Each of us delve back into our past and even though we make light of some of these events now, at the time they were tremendously sad and wretched. We lay the framework for a recovery program and the physical, mental, and spiritual bottoms that each of us have to hit in order to make the admission that we have a problem and we need help.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode of Trudge Report. We welcome our good friend and long time listener officially and indefinitely to the podcast, Danny P. We are pumped to have him as part of the Trudge Crew. We go around the horn with a few quick takes on a variety of things before heading into an Emmet Fox reading, titled “Stake Your Claim." This is easily one of his more famous and well known readings and philosophies. 

After that we transition into our last and final spooky topic for the Halloween season. Corey brings a brilliant idea of the origins of the slasher film and horror movies in general. We all get a quick history lesson on how the slasher film came to be and early pioneers in terms of creators and characters. Corey goes through the different styles of the horror movie throughout the decades up to what we have in the present day. Hello everyone and welcome to this week's episode of Trudge Report. After we go around the horn we dive right into another prayer. This week it is the Prayer of St Francis, also referred to as “A Prayer for Peace.” Like last week's dive into the Serenity Prayer, this prayer has been a major part of all of our lives since our early recovery. It is a prayer that has layers and deeper meaning depending on where we are at in our spiritual journeys.

The second half of the show is all about how deep each of our belief systems go when it comes to the paranormal and the supernatural. We each share a few experiences and certain things we may or may not fully believe in and buy into when it comes to some of the spooky stuff. Gregory lives some very real childhood experiences that are perfect for this time of year. We recap some of the Chris McKinnell episodes and how some of what he shared and his experiences have helped shape our own.

This is a prayer that people recovering from alcoholism and addiction have been using for many years and it is the unofficial prayer of most recovery programs. What many people in the rooms of recovery know is the short form of this prayer but the boys at TRP take a deeper look into the original version of the prayer.

This week on Trudge Report we delve into the Charlie Kirk assassination, the surrounding events, potential theories, and the impact that it has on our society. This is not a light topic and we treat it as such. The finality of death and the loss of human life is something that we at TRP feel strongly about and want to get our message and our thoughts out to our listeners. It is not a political episode but it is impossible to talk about this subject without having some form of political discussion. However, this discussion does not necessarily reflect any of our own personal political beliefs. The broader discussion is on how we treat and tolerate our fellow brothers and sisters of this world. If we want peace, it has to start in our own backyard. We correlate this topic into a brief recovery segment. The spiritual principles in our recovery program teach us to be loving and tolerant of all people no matter what their beliefs or ideologies are. None of us are perfect but our recovery has helped us become better people all around. Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlie's family and friends and all people he touched and inspired.

Welcome back to another weekly episode as the Trudge Trio gives a quick around the horn with a few more comments on the Chris McKinnell episodes and the new Conjuring film that just came out. We also have a few takes on the weekend's wild NFL week 1 matchups and results.

This week, Corey, Greg, and Shawn, focus heavily on recovery and we talk a lot about God, the afterlife, reincarnation, what heaven means to us, our perceptions and conceptions of a Higher Power and Spirit of the Universe. We break down the difference between belief and faith. The questions we ask are very thought-provoking and hopefully will leave the listeners thinking and contemplating which is never a bad thing and can only lead to more growth.
