In this episode I review the accomplishments of President Trump’s First 100 Days:

Border Security & Immigration Enforcement

• Illegal border crossings decreased by over 94%, attributed to reinstated Trump-era policies and the enactment of the Laken Riley Act, which mandates the detention of undocumented immigrants charged with violent crimes.
• Introduced a self-deportation incentive program, offering $1,000 and travel assistance to undocumented immigrants who voluntarily leave the U.S. via the CBP Home app.
• Proposed reopening Alcatraz Island as a federal prison to detain violent offenders and high-risk illegal immigrants, symbolizing a return to "law, order, and justice."

Economic Revitalization & Trade Policies

• Imposed a universal 10% tariff on all imported goods starting April 2, dubbed "Liberation Day," and a 25% tariff on imports from Canada, Mexico, and China, aiming to bolster domestic manufacturing.
• Facilitated the creation of 345,000 new jobs, with 54% in non-government sectors, including significant growth in construction and energy industries.

Government Efficiency & Deregulation

• Established the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, targeting $1 trillion in federal budget cuts by July 4, 2026.
• Implemented federal workforce reductions through voluntary buyouts, resulting in 77,000 departures, and mandated return-to-office plans to increase productivity. 

Cultural Initiatives & Domestic Policy

• Directed the elimination of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs across federal agencies and educational institutions, promoting a return to merit-based systems.
• Announced a 100% tariff on foreign-made films, aiming to protect and revitalize the American film industry.

Foreign Policy & National Security

• Engaged in diplomatic discussions with international leaders, including Turkey's President Erdogan, focusing on conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, and signed a minerals deal with Ukraine to enhance U.S. leverage on Russia.
• Extended the deadline for TikTok to secure a U.S. buyer to June 19, emphasizing national security concerns over foreign-owned social media platforms.

In this episode we review the Trump Administration's transgender ban in women's sports! 

On February 5, 2025, President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports," aiming to exclude transgender women from participating in female sports categories. This directive mandates federal agencies and state attorneys general to enforce the prohibition, with potential penalties including the withdrawal of federal funding from institutions that do not comply (APNEWS.COM).

The executive order redefines sex under Title IX as strictly biological and immutable, reversing previous interpretations that included gender identity. This shift has significant implications for educational institutions and athletic organizations across the country (APNEWS.COM). 

In response, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) announced its compliance with the new federal standard, amending its policies to restrict participation in women's sports to individuals assigned female at birth. NCAA President Charlie Baker stated that the order provides a clear national standard, contrasting with the previously conflicting state laws and court decisions (THEM.US).

1. Deployment of U.S. Troops to the Southern Border: Authorized the deployment of military personnel to the U.S.-Mexico border to enhance security and curb illegal immigration. 

2. Designation of Certain Cartels as Terrorist Organizations: Labeled specific international cartels and criminal organizations, including the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, as terrorist groups to strengthen enforcement measures. 

3. Completion of the Border Wall: Directed the Departments of Homeland Security and Defense to finalize the construction of the border wall and deploy additional personnel for border control. 

4. Termination of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Programs: Ended funding for DEI initiatives within federal agencies, aligning with his administration's stance against such programs. 

5. Strict Definition of Gender: Established a policy defining sex strictly as male and female based on reproductive capabilities, affecting federal prisons, shelters, and funding for gender-transition services. 

6. National Energy Emergency Declaration: Declared a national energy emergency to boost domestic oil and gas production, aiming to reduce energy prices and achieve energy independence. 

7. Rescission of Electric Vehicle Mandates: Revoked mandates promoting electric vehicles, shifting focus towards traditional energy sources and domestic oil production. 

8. Revocation of Birthright Citizenship: Initiated steps to end birthright citizenship for children of undocumented immigrants, a move expected to face legal challenges. 

9. Reinstatement of the "Remain in Mexico" Policy: Reintroduced the policy requiring asylum seekers to wait in Mexico during processing, aiming to deter illegal immigration. 

10. Abolishment of the CBP One Program: Terminated the CBP One app used by migrants to legally enter and work in the U.S., as part of broader immigration policy changes. 

These executive actions reflect President Trump's commitment to his campaign promises, focusing on immigration enforcement, energy policy, and redefining social policies.

We made it, True American's! Election day is here and we review the most interesting points of each candidate and most recent polling data!

In this episode we discuss three interesting stories: the Presidential Candidates closing arguments, ballot box targeting by arsonists and Israel's response to Iran bombings. 

We are in the election home stretch and I'm sure many people are excited to see this election over! Donald Trump and Joe Rogan sit down for a three hour conversation while Kamala appears in a CNN town hall that may not have gone as well as she had hoped. Shout-out to Anderson Cooper who pulled no punches and offered several tough questions including “why wasn’t any of that done while you were in office?” Finally, Kamala Harris spoke at a church In Philadelphia and offered her rendition of a Baptist Pastor. 

Next, a couple of ballot drop boxes were set ablaze in Washington state that raised many eyebrows. It'll be interesting to see if any more ballot boxes are burned between now and Tuesday. 

Finally, we talk middle east and Israel's response to Iran's aggressive bombing. Unfortunately, the main media outlets are keeping pretty tight lipped about Israel's response that perplexes me. So, I'll be following that quite closely!
