We delve into the topic of Virtue Signalling to try and understand the nature of why people do it, does it add value to society. We talk about the current phenomenon of publicising donations for the Bushfires. The crassness associated with it but the good that comes of it. Virtue is not something that by nature should be promoted from the person being virtuous but in our modern time's attitudes are shifting and people feel both obligated and open to the idea about telling people who virtuous. This virtue economy has a spectrum in those that do and say, to those that say and do nothing (peak virtue signalling).
