Our on going theme of the festive season gets to the crux of Christmas. Being a spiritual day for the Christians of the world. The day Christ was born. The day itself has morphed for many but at the hear of it all, Christmas is a Christian holiday. We discuss the intricacies.

We continue the theme of the festive season and get right into the rules of gifting and gift giving. Who should you buy gifts for at Christmas time? Receiving unexpected gifts. Is giving recycled gifts (second hand) ok? Is regifting ok and when to do it. When someone gives you a crap gift. So many rules, we break it down to three simple rules.

What happened to Christmas? As each year comes to an end Australian turns to festive season. This includes of course the Christian holiday known as Christmas. You know the day that Jesus was born. This day has then transitioned into a day where an old bearded man delivers presents all around the world. The nation turns wild with Christmas cheer and we get all excited about our special day. Sally: Not a fan of Christmas. Jay: A big fan of Christmas. They debate the pros and cons and why they do and don't like it. Our best discussion yet.  We end the episode on a postive note. Our favourite topic. Movies. We discuss the top 5 Christmas movies of all time.

This episode we start by looking at why do non believers care so much about believers and likewise the other way. Then this segways specfically into the spectrum of thought and how the opposite ends of the thought spectrum clash so hard nowadays. Is there a death of civility?

Episode 11 is a combination of various topics including Sally returning to work after 6.5 years. How the big bang theory works with Christian belief. Is Die Hard the best Christmas movie of all time (now showing at IMAX). Who can do no wrong. Musicless Video Clips reactions.

In episode 10 we examine the social construct of cultural appropriation. Given we are people of colour in a predominantly white country. We thought it would be good to discuss this phenomenon of rules around what you can and can't do around other peoples cultures.

In episode 9 we look at home schooling. In recent times Sally has really delved into whether its's a viable option to home school her two young boys who are on the Austism spectrum. She shares her story of her current struggles with the rigid neuro-typical schooling. We then give reasons why home schooling would be a god option and finally look at the demise of the current Australian schooling sytem.

In episode 8 of True Colours we look through Jay's DNA results to find out exactly where he originates from. The results are such a surprise.

In this episode, we take the seriousness down a notch and look at some pop culture. We look at the top 20 Spotify artists (which Jay has no idea about) and learn a little about the prominent pop artists of today from Sally. We then do a cross-reference versus the year 1989 and look at what has happened to music in a 30 year period. 

We dive in and discuss, what has happened to parenting? Sally take the stance that parenting has eroded from where it used to be. We look at current methods of discipline versus the old methods. Are we on the anti-smacking wagon. Where is the smack line? 

We take a deep look into where parenting is in todays modern age and methods we recommend.
